Privacy notice

AIM Consulting Group Ltd (company number 17153015, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ) is responsible for the personal information described here. To ask a question or exercise your rights, email james@aim-consulting.co.uk.

Contacting AIM

The contact form asks for your name, email address and message. If you reached the form from one of the site’s “talk to us” links, the email James receives notes which one. When you select “Send message”, these details are sent securely to Web3Forms (Web3Creative), which processes the enquiry and forwards it to AIM’s Microsoft 365 mailbox. Form messages are not stored in this website’s database. Unsent drafts stay in the page and are not saved when you leave.

You can also contact AIM directly by email or LinkedIn. Those services process the information you send through them. Please share only what is needed for an initial conversation, and leave out sensitive or confidential information.

I use what you send to respond to your request and discuss work you may want AIM to carry out. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, or AIM’s legitimate interest in answering other business enquiries.

Where information is held

The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. These providers process technical information about visits to deliver, secure and operate the service. Correspondence is held in AIM’s Microsoft 365 account. Web3Forms also processes and may retain form submissions and technical information for delivery and spam prevention; its spam checks may share the submitter’s email and IP address with its security providers. These providers may process information outside the UK under their applicable data protection safeguards.

Access to correspondence is limited to people authorised to manage AIM’s enquiries and systems. Your details are not sold or added to a marketing list.

Web3Forms operates from India and uses international infrastructure. Its privacy policy and data processing agreement describe its providers and safeguards for international transfers.

How long it is kept

Web3Forms retains submission data for up to three years, subject to the account’s retention settings or earlier deletion. AIM’s mailbox enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer and follow up, then reviewed for deletion. If we work together, relevant correspondence becomes part of the client record and is kept for the engagement and applicable business-record requirements.

Using this website

AIM does not add advertising or marketing trackers to this website. The hosting service may record technical logs and traffic information. Cloudflare, which delivers the site, may set a short-lived security cookie (__cf_bm) to tell people from automated traffic; it is strictly necessary and is not used for tracking. AIM itself sets no cookies. No form details are sent to Web3Forms until you submit the form.

Protecting the contact form

When you start using the contact form, hCaptcha loads a human check to help prevent automated spam. It processes technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, and interactions with the check. It may use security cookies or local storage. Web3Forms verifies the result before accepting your message. This processing supports AIM’s legitimate interest in protecting enquiries from abuse. You can email James instead if you prefer not to use the check. See hCaptcha’s privacy policy for details, including international processing.

Your display preference

The site follows your device’s light or dark setting until you choose a mode. Your choice is saved only in this browser, using local storage, so it can be remembered on your next visit. AIM does not receive that preference. Clearing the site’s browser data removes it.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct your information, request deletion or restriction, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Data portability may apply where processing is based on a contract. These rights depend on the circumstances.

You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.
